My Story

My name is Stephen Mujeye, and I am the author of Reversing the Odds: How I Took Control of Diabetes, Reclaimed My Health, and Built a Life of Discipline and Freedom.

At age 22, I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. What followed was a journey marked by challenges, setbacks, and ultimately transformation. Through disciplined lifestyle changes, exercise, nutrition, intermittent fasting, and data-driven health tracking, I was able to take control of my health and dramatically improve my quality of life.

My story is not simply about losing weight or improving blood sugar numbers. It is about learning that lasting change comes through consistency, personal responsibility, and the willingness to do the hard work every day.

Today, I share my experiences to inspire others who may be facing health challenges, personal obstacles, or goals that seem impossible.

Educator, Researcher, and Technology Leader

Beyond my personal health journey, I have dedicated my professional career to education, research, and technology.

I currently serve as Program Director for Computer Information Systems and Security at Sam Houston State University and have taught at several colleges and universities throughout my career. My experience includes serving as a professor, academic leader, researcher, curriculum developer, and cybersecurity professional.

I hold:

  • Ph.D. in Information Security from Nova Southeastern University
  • Master of Science in Administration (Information Resource Management)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration and Computer Information Systems

Throughout my career, I have published peer-reviewed research, presented internationally, secured grant funding, and mentored students pursuing careers in technology and cybersecurity.

Why Data Matters

As a researcher, I have always been fascinated by data, patterns, and evidence-based decision-making.

When I began my health transformation journey, I approached it the same way I approached research:

  • Measure progress
  • Track results
  • Analyze patterns
  • Make adjustments
  • Stay consistent

This mindset became one of the most powerful tools in my journey to reverse diabetes and inspired the creation of Track2Transform, a platform designed to help others use data to improve their health and wellness.

Author, Speaker, and Health Advocate

Today, I speak to organizations, universities, churches, healthcare groups, and corporate audiences about:

  • Reversing the Odds through discipline and perseverance
  • Managing chronic health conditions
  • Building sustainable habits
  • Data-driven health improvement
  • Leadership and personal accountability
  • The power of resilience and lifelong learning

My mission is to help people understand that transformation is possible regardless of where they start.

BOOK STEPHEN TO SPEAK

Track 2 Transform was born from my belief that awareness creates change.

The platform helps individuals monitor key health metrics, including:

  • Blood glucose
  • Weight
  • Waist measurements
  • Exercise
  • Nutrition
  • Fasting
  • Hydration
  • Sleep

By combining personal accountability with meaningful data, Track2Transform helps users make informed decisions and build healthier lifestyles.
